In The Bag #1
New serie : Content creators share what's in their bag
I adoreeeee what’s in the bag content so i put together a post featuring some of my favourite creators and what’s in their bag . My own version is coming soon on YouTube or here !
Let’s start with this diva. I found her on TikTok two years ago and was instantly obsessed. Her style is so unique and effortlessly cool, and her movie recommendations on Letterboxd are genuinely curated to perfection. I have discovered so many hidden gems through her honestly she changed the way I watch films.

Her TikToks are genuinely my hyperfixation right now: she brings such a fresh perspective to fashion, and her ideas are the kind that stick with you long after you've scrolled past. She also writes over on Substack, where her articles are just as thoughtful and inspiring. I'm so grateful she said yes to being part of this "In the Bag" post
A : Like many hopeless bag romantics, I often switch between bags based on occasion. But the one that has stayed consistently there for me is my large navy blue, two-toned Longchamp bag I got from The Real Real three years ago. Since then, this bag has been holding a good portion of my life and made me proud to call myself a bag lady. Because of this, the contents of my bag is a beautiful tapestry of what brings me joy and literally carries me through each day.
Since I work as a freelance social media consultant, I tend to jump around locations a lot for meetings, shoots, co-work sessions and more. So, I have no shame in having everything I need!
Starting with my Mac Book Pro which is cradled by the best (and cutest) puffy laptop case from Baggu. After my laptop, the most important items in my bag are definitely my leather journal systems. I have a pocket-sized Paper Republic leather cover that holds a brain dump notebook/sketchbook, my daily calendar/agenda, a to-do list and some inner pockets for stickers, business cards and other ephemera I may come across during the day.
Next, I have an A5 leather journal cover that I got from Etsy in navy blue that I use for all my work notebooks, meeting notes and content ideas. I also like to carry my business cards with me everywhere, so they’re usually strewn about in my bag, but in an ideal world they’re always in my vintage cardholder I got on Ebay.
The rest of the chaos of my bag is tamed by a series of smaller, categorized bags, also from Baggu. In the largest pouch, I have all my tools that save me during an emergency or just make me feel a bit more put together. This includes some beauty items like a mini deodorant from Native, an Aquaphor healing balm stick and my favorite hand cream from Aesop (that both moisturizes my skin and adds a bit of fragrance when I need it). In that pouch I also carry some on-the-go tech I need like my laptop charger, my Nothing earbuds (the sound is INCREDIBLE on these) and a little magnetic phone stand from Moft.
Finally, I’ve learned that having my perfect lip combo with me at all times always makes me feel put together, so I carry my go to lip products in a tiny Baggu pouch that can be transferred from bag to bag. Inside: a Charlotte Tilbury lip liner, my favorite deep mauve lipstick from Milani (Rose Femme) that I usually top with some sort of lip oil. I also throw in a lip balm from Summer Fridays or Clinique’s Black Honey if I want something a bit more bold!

I discovered her on youtube , and she’s one of my recent favourites on Instagram I am absolutely obsessed. Her posts are so inspiring and her Substack too
My favorite post of her
R : I’ve always believed your bag says everything about you and mine is a bit of controlled chaos. As a fashion intern, I carry my day (and backup plans for my day) with me at all times. It’s part practicality, part vibes, and part “just in case,” but mostly it’s about being ready for whatever the day throws at me. Let me introduce you to some of the regulars.
Digi cam — my grandfather’s, and easily one of my best hand me downs. It’s captured some of my fav memories, & lives in the bottom of my bag.
Pair of sunnies— equal parts practical and performative.
A scent — you smell good is one of my favourite compliments.
Hair clip — if you have frizzy/wavy hair, you get it. There’s always a moment in the day where your hair becomes your enemy.
Notebook — I like to keep the option open of writing something down.
Charger — a non-negotiable. My phone rarely makes it through the day unassisted. A power bank is next on the list.
Hairbrush — compact, convenient, and still I avoid using it at all costs.
Lip case — found at a market in Spain, now home to my lip balm.
Pocket mirror — functional, nostalgic, and due for a return.
Briana :
Okay, I discovered Brianna in March while I was scrolling on TikTok wanting to spend some money hehe I ended up discovering so many brands because of her account, and I really love her whole vibe.
B: I’m Bri, and this is my bag. The contents of a bag are like the freckles on your face in the summer or a scab on your knee after a fall: it reflects fresh life, what’s happening now (and maybe a few days ago). And mine is no different.
My favorite items right now, in no particular order, are: my hand cream, my book, and my wired headphones.
My Hand Cream
I’ve recently taken pottery classes for the past couple of months, and if you’ve worked with clay, you’d know that after a session of wrestling with mud, your hands can feel… let’s just say, I can feel every crack and crevice of my skin. Last Christmas, I spent what I could only describe as a storybook holiday with my boyfriend’s family. I’m an only child, so Christmas back home was nothing like my boyfriend’s (he has 3 siblings, 2 dogs, and 2 parents who buy lots and lots of presents). I say this because my boyfriend’s mom put this hand cream in my overflowing stocking, and I will always remember how much love, joy, and laughter filled their house last December when I pull this out of my bag.
My Book
I heard rumors that maintaining friendships post-graduation was not easy. So when I graduated from NYU last year, I knew I had to act. 3 months post-grad, I started a book club with my friends (and we quickly added friends of friends who are, now, just my friends). We’ve made it to book club no. 9, and our book this month is Sula by Toni Morrison. I may not read my book everywhere I carry it, but having it on me is a reminder of the wonderful people in my life and the potency of genuine community.
My Wired Headphones
How to spot an NYC cool girl: she’s wearing wired headphones. I’m not conceited; I’m just a poser <3
What’s in The Editteur bag ?
We’ve been mutuals for years now, and she was one of the first people I saw creating beautifully curated moodboards on Twitter. I was so obsessed back then, and honestly still am she’s incredibly inspiring.
My bag is a vintage Mulberry tote in black Congo leather that I picked it up last year on Vinted for £50 and the black tassels I added for a bit of personality.
Spring in the UK means having to be ready for any weather, so I keep a cashmere jumper with me just in case! My favourite sunglasses are these secondhand Gucci ones I bought last year, they go with any outfit.
My purse is vintage Courrèges, my lucky fish key ring was bought on a trip to Marrakesh, and my sister gifted me the Chanel vanity mirror. I keep this Ganni scrunchie in my bag for hair emergencies, and I always have tissues and antibacterial spray in my bag - a spray feels much nicer than a hand gel in my opinion.
The beauty essentials: Summer Fridays lip balm, a very loved tube of Aesop hand cream and Glossier YOU, I find this fragrance so easy to wear and I always get compliments when I’m wearing it.
There’s a receipt from a dinner I had at Juliet’s restaurant in Stroud (in the Cotswolds, UK) which I’m still dreaming about, and I’m currently reading Cameron Russell’s memoir which I’m loving as well.
Pari x

Alsoooo, I have a Google Form for those who are paid subscribers or for anyone who wants to become one, so please make sure to fill it out It would honestly mean the world to me.
Andddd I also wanted to talk about the ebook because I’m sorry I disappeared with updates for months But honestly, ever since I started on Substack, my family and friends keep telling me I should make my own ebook. It was kind of on pause for a while, but lately I’ve had sooo many new ideas.
So now I’m wondering… should I start working on it again and continue the ebook, or should I focus mainly on the newsletter for now? Let me know what you think because I literally get questions about the ebook all the timeee and I felt like I had to finally talk about it
See you sooooonnnn lovelies for a paid post next time
