Navy Blue and Brown: A Combo I’m Excited to Try
I recently came across
post amelia talked about mixing navy blue and brown in her outfits, and it totally caught my attention. It’s such an unexpected pairing I’ve honestly never thought of it before! But now, I’m inspired and can’t wait to try it myself. I already have an outfit in mind and am so excited to finally wear it soon. The combination feels so chic and timeless. Have you tried navy and brown together? Let me know .Winter Accessories: Bringing Back My Old Favorites
A few years ago, I bought an adorable white fur bucket hat. It was the trendy accessory back then, and I made a point of wearing it at least once every winter. But as trends shifted, it slowly got forgotten in the back of my closet.
The other day, though, my mom mentioned seeing a stunning blonde rocking a full fur outfit , fur bucket hat and a wool scarf, which immediately reminded her of my hat. She told me, “Why aren’t you wearing it again? It’s gorgeous, especially in this cold winter!” She was absolutely right I’d completely forgotten how cute it was.
So, I’ve decided it’s time to bring it back, alongside all my favorite winter accessories. A cozy cashmere scarf, warm gloves (because my hands turn blue so quickly in the cold lol) , I can’t wait to wear the fur hat in the park Omg soooo perfect
( I have like this one )
Watch more french movies Catherine Deneuve / Anna Karina movies: it’s time to dive into more French cinema! I absolutely adore French films. Every time I watch one, I feel so inspired it’s like a creative reset. This time, I’m planning to explore some classics. I even asked for recommendations on Reddit and got a long list to dive into. I also made a new pinterest board ( La chic Française for inspo ) . Totally off-topic but I’ve been wanting to start watching Mia Goth’s movies I’ve heard amazing reviews! I also plan to dive into Sofia Coppola’s filmography.
For now, I’m all set to focus on studies, indulge in these movies, and treat myself to solo dates as little rewards but without documenting anything ( i hope i’ll be able to do this because i love writing newsletter posts sm ) . I’ll definitely miss sharing everything I’m loving with you all, but I’ll be back maybe in february / march with plenty of new inspirations and updates !
Browsing on Fragrantica :
It’s is one of my absolute favorite things to do, but recently, I realized I needed more interaction when it comes to perfumes I like. While Fragrantica allows you to share reviews and send messages, I feel like the platform could benefit from features like a follow button or the ability to reply directly to reviews. It would make the site feel more alive and engaging!
Feeling a bit bored, I decided to open an anonymous Reddit account (yes, no one knows it’s me!). I stumbled upon the fragrance subreddit, and let me tell you it’s been amazing! I asked for recommendations based on the perfumes I love, and within just one hour, I got over 60 replies! I was absolutely thrilled.
While Reddit isn't exactly known as a “cool” app and can sometimes be full of negativity and toxic vibes, I’ve found it super helpful for specific interests like movies, perfumes, and productivity tips. I only use it when I need advice, reviews, or recommendations, and it’s kind of like a microblogging space for me. Honestly, I’ve been loving it and spending my days exploring the little corners of the platform. It's so much fun!
I’m eyeing on few dyptique perfumes , jo malone , lancome , REPLICA my wishlist is growing everyday lol.
Notion :
I’ve been wanting to use Notion again to plan my modules and revise . I miss the old me from 2020 who was obsessed with organizing her notes and backing things up. I really want to get back into that mindset because these last exams are crucial for defining my future. So, yes, I’m determined to go back to using Notion again.
Playing The Sims:
I saw so many people talking about playing The Sims, and it made me miss gaming! But now that I’m 22, I feel like I don’t have the time to dive into games like before. My focus is mainly on socials and TikTok, haha! I came across so many people saying The Sims is like a dream space for them—where they can create their ideal lives, manifest, and escape reality. I was honestly stunned. Maybe I’m just craving distractions lol
The jewelry boutique in town is my absolute go-to spot for all my jewelry needs. I’ve found the most gorgeous necklaces and rings there, and their collection never disappoints. Recently, I’ve been eyeing another ring from their store specifically one of their adjustable ones. Since my hands are quite thin, finding rings that fit perfectly has always been a struggle, but their adjustable designs are a total lifesaver! I’m so excited to visit soon and pick out a new piece. I’m even thinking of adding one of their beautiful rings to my birthday wishlist—it’s the perfect excuse to treat myself!
Watch K-Dramas Again
I’ve been missing K-Dramas so much lately! It’s been months since I last watched one, and I genuinely want to dive back in. Watching K-Dramas always gives me butterflies and fills me with so much happiness. They’re so entertaining and comforting—like the perfect escape. So yes, I’m officially making a comeback to the K-Drama world. Any recommendations? Let me know!
Side Part:
Side parts have been my favorite hairstyle since I was a kid, and they’re staying as my signature look for 2025. I’m just not a fan of single parts side parts feel more natural and effortless to me, and I love how they complement my style.
A quote I liked this week : from the pivot year book
It’s okay for things to be just as they are . Little by little you will begin to see that life can only grow outward in proportion to how stable it is inward - that if joy is not in the little things first the big things won’t fully find us .
Another one :
A Cool book i read this week : Kiss and tell by SATC
Focusing on Pilates and wellness , my lock-in era has officially begun, and I’m ready to reinvent myself, focusing on what truly inspires and fuels me. Yesterday, i received the uni competition schedule, and it left me a bit stressed because lately, I’ve been procrastinating and busy creating content. But I realized that when I fully focus on studying, I get so much more done. I’ll really miss posting here, but maybe this time, it might be a longer break. I’ll find ways to stay connected, though. Once I commit to something, I tend to deactivate all notifications on my apps. My productivity hack? Letting my phone die, literally!
