The June Edit
Life diaries , what i'm loving , eyeing , wearing and watching ...
Hello everyone! I hope you’re doing well, I had so many posts I wanted to share, but I thought I would make a June favorites post instead because this month was honestly so full of fun, little magical moments, and memories.
June was a really busy month because I was focused a lot on my internship , it took a lot of my time and energy but I didn’t want that to stop me from enjoying my hobbies and having little moments for myself. On days when I had less internship work, I would usually finish my tasks in the morning, and then around 5 or 6 pm when the sun was a little softer, I would go out, explore my favorite places, and get little sweet treats.
Sometimes I would go thrift shopping, and honestly, those days are some of my favorites. Yesterday, I met the sweetest British lady who works in the cutest little thrift shop. I found so many unique pieces there, including clothes from brands like Issey Miyake, and things you genuinely wouldn’t find anywhere else.
I ended up getting a beautiful fuchsia top, and the other thing I bought was a black skirt. I don’t know why, but I’ve been having a huge obsession with skirts lately… and honestly, I love it .Something similar happened the last time I went thrift shopping too I found the most lovely pieces, and I just love days like this: sunny weather, walking around, discovering hidden places, and finding little treasures.
Another thing I love doing when I go out is trying different gelato flavors every time. It’s honestly one of my favorite little rituals , I think these simple moments are what make a month feel special.
I’ll also make a post soon about how to have the best solo date ever because I have so many ideas to share.
I’m still thinking about traveling though… and I’ve been considering going to Barcelona with friends. I’m not 100% sure yet if it’ the right idea, but I’ve honestly been so obsessed with Barcelona photo dumps lately .
The city looks so beautiful the architecture, the little streets, the cafés, the atmosphere… everything feels so inspiring. I would love to visit for the first time and just explore, walk around, discover cute places, and make memories.
The thing is, after I finish my master’s thesis, I’ll basically be done around September, and I keep thinking: do I still have enough time to visit all the places I’ve been dreaming about? I really want to take advantage of this period and explore more, because sometimes life gets busy so quickly. I think traveling and discovering new places is one of the things that makes me feel the most alive
i want to see this beauty in real life
I’ll start with my recent favorites
This month I tried so many perfume samples, mini perfumes, and some new scents I’ve been wanting to test for a while. I actually received a few new perfumes recently, and I’m planning to make a whole review about them
So let’s start , My favorite perfume this month was definitely Giorgio Armani the power of u . I wore it literally the whole month, and I paired it with Sora Dora Mallow, which also smells absolutely amazing.
I don’t know what happens when summer arrives, but I always start gravitating toward fruity scents and fresh sweet perfumes. They just feel so perfect for the season they’re playful, feminine, and honestly superior , I keep reaching for them every time I go out. Another discovery of the month was a perfume brand called Nayaat Perfumes. I was just scrolling on TikTok and randomly found them, and I decided to try them.
I got Soho Aura and Sultry Vanilla, and if you are someone who loves sweet perfumes and sweet notes… this is definitely for you . The vanilla, the sweetness, the cozy feeling these kinds of scents are just so addictive, especially if you love perfumes that make people ask “what are you wearing?”
I’ll review my favorites with you all, and the first one is Soho Aura. This perfume smells like the loveliest sweet floral scent something incredibly chic, elegant, and feminine.
The moment I smelled it, I imagined wearing it with a monochrome outfit, a beautiful midi skirt, or a cute top on a sunny day. It has that effortless, polished vibe that makes you feel instantly put together. I read on Fragrantica that it’s considered a dupe for Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique
What I can say is that Soho Aura is absolutely beautiful on its own. It combines notes of lychee, lily of the valley, peach, jasmine, praline, and mandarin, creating a scent that is sweet, fruity, floral, and fresh all at once. The lychee and peach give it a juicy sweetness, while the florals make it feel elegant and sophisticated. It’s the kind of perfume that feels perfect for spring and summer, and I found myself reaching for it constantly throughout June because it simply smells so lovely and uplifting.
I also have a few perfume samples coming next week, and I’m honestly so excited to try them all . The one I’m most excited about is Carolina Herrera La Bomba. I’ve heard so many things about it and I’m really curious to see how it smells on me. As soon as I receive it and get the chance to test it properly, I’ll definitely come back and review it
Beauty :
Okay, this month I discovered a really interesting brand called Candeur . It’s a French haircare brand, and I have to say, I’ve always wondered what premium haircare actually feels like on the hair the whole experience, the texture, the results, and the concept behind it. Even before trying it, I was already so curious.
What I loved the most is that everything starts with a personalized hair diagnosis. Before ordering, you answer a few questions about your hair, and the brand creates a routine adapted to your own needs. I found this approach really different because you’re not just choosing random products the routine is created specifically for your hair type.
Another thing that really stood out to me is the formulation: 99% ingredients of natural origin, vegan formulas, without silicones or sulfates. As someone who has become really interested in hair science and ingredients, this is something I pay a lot of attention to
Having fine and wavy hair, finding the right routine can be challenging because my hair can easily become weighed down, lose its definition, or get frizzy. I really loved discovering a brand that focuses on understanding your hair first and creating products that match its specific needs. I’m excited to continue using my routine and seeing how my hair evolves with it
I did the diagnosis and received my routine, and honestly I loved the whole collection. The thing I appreciated the most is that every product complements the others, so you’re not just getting separate products but a complete routine that works together.
What I loved the most from my Candeur routine were the shampoo, the mask, and especially the hair oil . I had been wanting to try a good hair oil for a while because it became one of my favorite steps to do before my shower routine. The first thing I noticed is that this doesn’t feel like a regular oil I’ve tried before you can really feel that it’s a premium hair product. It feels nourishing, luxurious and like it was made to actually care for the hair.
Since my hair is naturally wavy, the product that really impressed me was the hydrating serum. The definition I got from my waves was honestly what I had been searching for for months. It helped my waves look more beautiful, hydrated, and defined without making them feel heavy.
After using the whole routine, I have to say my wavy hair looked so much better. The texture, the softness, and especially the definition improved a lot. Of course with haircare you have to be consistent to see long-term results, but I genuinely loved how my hair responded to these products. So for this month, Candeur is definitely my favorite haircare discovery and one of my biggest favorites .
Another favorite product I’ve been using lately, especially after my blowouts or when I want to define my curls, is the Ouai Hair Oil .
I got the big size because I had heard so many good things about it, and I have to admit… it really lives up to the hype. It works so beautifully on my hair and I’ve honestly been obsessed with it. What I love the most is the finish it gives it makes my hair feel so silky, smooth and soft without making it feel heavy. After a blowout, it adds that extra glossy touch, and when I wear my natural waves, it helps make everything look more polished and defined.
It’s definitely become one of those products I always reach for when I want my hair to look extra healthy and put together.
Another hair tool I got this month is the Wavy Talk brush .
I’ve been using it many times already, and I have to say… I’m honestly in love with this thermal brush. It makes my hair feel so silky, smooth and polished exactly the kind of finish I always look for after styling my hair.
I have to admit, I was influenced I kept watching so many tutorials of girls using it and creating these beautiful hairstyles, and I eventually thought: okay, I need to try it myself and see what all the hype is about. i neeeeed a new haircut for summmmer
I’m still learning how to properly create curls and waves with it because I don’t fully have the technique yet, but I’m practicing and trying to perfect my hair routine. I love discovering new tools and finding what works best for my hair, and this one has definitely become one of my favorites this month
Fashion :
I’m loving wearing colors lately pastels, fuchsia, and shades that feel so summer-coded. I’m really drawn to them, and they make me feel happy. So whenever I find a midi skirt, a cute top, or any summer-inspired piece, I’ll probably take it without even thinking twice.
I love discovering new, unique tops for summer finding that special piece that completely transforms an outfit and somehow looks like it was made for me. The only thing is, I really need to declutter my wardrobe because I have sooo many clothes. I’ve been thinking about selling some of them, but I honestly don’t have the time… I just need to actually make the time for it.
I’m also completely obsessed with lace lately, not even joking. There’s something so chic, feminine, and timeless about lace pieces. They make me feel so elegant and like a real princess hahaha.
