Fall is getting closer and I’m really excited! Honestly I didn’t spend summer the way I hoped. I only went to the beach once it was my first time this year. The ocean was full of waves, and since I prefer calm waters (they feel more relaxing and therapeutic to me) I didn’t go back again.
Lately I’ve been trying all kinds of ice cream new flavors like Dubai chocolate, bouncy gelato, chocolate and vanilla… and I think I might be a little addicted lol . Ice cream has definitely been my favorite treat this summer! You should read
post about icecream i loved it sm.I’ve also started going on solo dates once or twice a month, which I really enjoy. But by mid and late July, I had so many things to take care of so I was out almost every day. It was really tiring and a bit stressful, but I managed to get a lot done.
I’ve also been journaling regularly in my gratitude pages and writing down my monthly favorites. I’ve been really enjoying the content I consume diving deep into interesting topics on Are.na, reading amazing Substack posts and other inspiring articles. I feel so fulfilled when it comes to the media I’m taking in.
I’ve been watching cool YouTube videos, lots of movies, and every week I seem to have a new hyperfixation it’s kind of fun! Honestly I’m fully embracing and enjoying this
Lately, I’ve been absolutely loving the YouTube algorithm it keeps recommending me videos I genuinely enjoy and watch all the way through, which is honestly such a win.
I even got back into doing Pilates through YouTube. I’ll admit I miss my younger self sometimes she was so consistent. Still, I’m trying to get back into it gently. I’m loving Lottie Murphy’s sessions, as well as Tasha Franken and Pilates by Izzy.
My body tends to lose muscle fast if I’m not strength training, so I’ve been trying to find a mix that works for me.Here are some of the random YouTube videos I’ve been watching lately
I’ve also been pouring a lot of energy into creating making collages and moodboards for fall, which has become my new favorite creative outlet. And just a heads-up: I have a bunch of exciting posts I prepared this summer that I can’t wait to share with you all very soon.
I’ve put my eBook project on pause. I know some of you were really looking forward to it, and I’m a little sorry about the delay but as a perfectionist, I want it to be as good as it can be. I just haven’t had the time I need to pour into it fully especially with everything going on.
I’ve indulged in lots of sweet treats and delicious food this summer. One of my best friends wanted to try Italian food recently I’ve never eaten at an Italian restaurant before, but back in 2022 I made homemade gnocchi and it was so good. So maybe this time, I’ll finally give Italian cuisine a proper try… even if I’m still not sure what to order lol.
This summer also brought new people into my life I met some truly inspiring people, received great advice and yes… I had a few small crushes along the way. But if I had to describe my summer in a few words I’d say: lazy, romantic, and very cinéphile. I spent most of my days craving movies, art, and fashion the things that make me feel alive.
This afternoon i was a bit hungry and i needed something to eat , so i made pain perdu while listening

I haven’t been very active lately because I was caught up with so many documents and preparations but for a good reason. I’ve been awarded a scholarship in the south of France to pursue a Master’s degree in a completely new field. It’s honestly a dream come true.
It feels crazy to say this but life can truly change in just 2–3 months. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to keep working on your dreams consider this one.
I’ll be sharing my journey here on Substack and on Instagram so stay tuned. At first, I thought about writing a separate post but then I felt it would be more meaningful to share it directly here with you. I had already announced it yesterday in my Instagram story .if any of my French readers or anyone abroad in France sees this please feel free to send me a DM! We could meet up, or you could share your tips and advice. This is a completely new path for me. Back in February I didn’t make it through the PhD exam, but now life redirected me here and I couldn’t be more grateful.
Grab a journal or a blank page and write down your hobbies, what you enjoy, and what excites you. Go after your goals even if they feel impossible. Have the courage to be yourself and chase what you love. Apply for scholarships, consider studying abroad, and most importantly, believe in yourself.
Lessons I’ve Learned :
Even when you think you’re going to fail try anyway. You never know… maybe you’re luckier than you think.
Believe in yourself, even on the days when it’s hardest. Things can change so fast in a month, in two , your whole life can shift. All it takes is one moment of courage.
If something feels like it might benefit your future, go for it. Don’t overthink. See it as a beautiful chapter of your twenties an experience that will shape you.
Never underestimate your capacities. You are so much more than you give yourself credit for. You’re lucky, you’re capable maybe you just don’t see it yet.
I spent months studying for an exam in my country, thinking it was my only option. But looking back, it might’ve taken years of my life without leading to fulfillment. Be honest with yourself: what do you truly want? Who do you want to be?
Last November, I wrote a Substack post about my dream of visiting France for the first time. This dream started back in 2020 after watching Emily in Paris. I imagined myself walking in the morning with a croissant in hand, meeting strangers, having lunch with new friends, trying delicious food, shopping at French pharmacies during sales, and tasting every yogurt available in the country. It was a fantasy I thought would stay just that , a dream.
What if i move to paris ?
I’ve always had a special place in my heart for France particularly Paris. It has always felt like the ultimate destination. It’s been a dream of mine, I’ve spent countless hours pinning places to go, bakeries to discover, and things to buy on my Parisian wishlist. Last year, I thought I’d be in the South of France for my Master’s, with Paris as a quick …
Honestly, I still have this little dream of visiting Paris wandering through Le Marais, picking up some skincare products, and just enjoying the city. Hopefully this year I’ll get the chance to go, and if I do I’d love to share everything with you (maybe even vlog the whole day!). If any of you have Paris recommendations favorite spots, cafés, skincare shops, hidden gems please drop them in the comments, lovelies.
See you next time lovelies .
SO many exciting things happening here!! 😭💌 Moving abroad for a Master’s is huge — congrats!! Who else keeps a running list of dream cafés, bakeries, or hidden gems for their travel bucket list? I need inspo for my next trip! 🌿🥐📚
